Virgin Mary and Mary Magdalene kneeling at the cross

Mary Magdalene or Mary of Magdala, was a Jewish woman who, she traveled with Jesus as one of his followers. She have witnessed Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection.[3] Within the four Gospels she is mentioned at least 12 times more than most of the apostles.
She is most prominent in the narrative of the crucifixion of Jesus, at which she was present, and the witness in all four gospels of the empty tomb, the central fact of Jesus' resurrection. She was also present two days later, immediately following the Sabbath, when according to all four canonical Gospels,[Matthew 28:1–8] [Mark 16:9–10] [Luke 24:10] [John 20:18] she was, either alone or as a member of a group of women, the first to testify to the resurrection of Jesus. John 20 and Mark 16:9 specifically name her as the first person to see Jesus after his resurrection.

The Jerusalem Cross also known The Crusaders Cross

The Jerusalem Cross also known as the Crusaders Cross has become a central symbol in Christianity for it represents the connection of Jesus to the Holy Land and Jerusalem.  Jerusalem Crosses are collected as souvenirs while at the same time marking ancient churches and holy sites in Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Cross is often worn as jewelry or hung on the walls of houses. It has also become part of the coat-of arms and symbol of the Franciscan Custodia Terra Sancta - the pope appointed guardians or custodians of the Christian Holy Land sites.

The Jerusalem Cross is a regular or symmetrically even cross which ends with a "T" shape, known as Tau Crosses - representing the old Testament and surrounded by 4 equal smaller Greek Crosses, symbolic of the New Testament.

The Jerusalem Cross is mostly linked to the legacy of Jesus and bequest to spread the gospel to the 4 corners of world. Some believe the four small crosses can be interpreted as the four Evangelists: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Others believe the small crosses symbolize the wounds of Christ’s hands and feet while the larger cross represents the wound to his side inflicted by the Roman guards.

The Jerusalem Cross symbolizes centuries of faith. Its origin is believed to be rooted in the time of the Crusaders during the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem ruled the holy city from 1099 to 1187. This period was one of the richest periods in Christian history which is why the Jerusalem cross is often jewelled and lush.

According to some historical evidence, Godfrey de Bouillon was the first to use the Jerusalem Cross as a distinct symbol. A leader within the Crusader orders, De Bouillon believed that the cross is the symbol of Jesus Christ and  the city of Jerusalem which stands in the center of Christianity.

Grafted-In Romans key chain (1862004040)

Grafted-In

The symbol “Grafted In” became very popular during last decades. It was discovered in the Jerusalem area as a decoration on pottery dated at the 2nd Century A.D. Some archaeologists decided that this symbol was an identity mark of the early Christ followers. It was a sign that they united together their traditions and religion into incipient Messianic congregation.

The “Grafted In” explains the development of relationship between Jewish people and Gentile.
As it is written in the Romans 11:17-18 “If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: you do not support the root, but the root supports you”..

In other words it means that the Christianity takes its roots from Judaism and we all are branches of one tree.

The Menorah on the top of the symbol stands for Torah, the Light of the Judaism.
The Star of David reminds us that the son of David, Yeshua the King, will govern the Kingdom of David.

The fish identifies with the believer. The Greek word ICHTHUS, meaning “fish” was an acronym for “Yeshua”.

This ancient symbol is completely merged together, meaning that our God is grafting us all together in our faith and strengthening us in Messiah.

The miraculous catch of fish

or more traditionally the Miraculous Draught of Fishes, is either of two miracles attributed to Jesus in the Canonical gospels. The miracles are reported as taking place years apart from each other, but in both miracles apostles are fishing unsuccessfully in the Sea of Galilee when Jesus tells them to try one more cast of the net, at which they are rewarded with a great catch. Either is thus sometimes called a "miraculous draught of fish".

In the Gospel of Luke, the first miraculous catch of fish takes place early in the ministry of Jesus and results in Peter as well as James and John, the sons of Zebedee, joining Jesus vocationally as disciples.

The second miraculous catch of fish is also called the "miraculous catch of 153 fish," and seems to recall the first catch. It is reported in the last chapter of the Gospel of John and takes place after the Resurrection of Jesus.

Saint Christopher the patron saint of travellers

According to the legendary account of his life Christopher was initially called Reprobus. He was a Canaanite, 5 cubits (7.5 feet (2.3 m)) tall and with a fearsome face. While serving the king of Canaan, he took it into his head to go and serve "the greatest king there was". He went to the king who was reputed to be the greatest, but one day he saw the king cross himself at the mention of the devil. On thus learning that the king feared the devil, he departed to look for the devil. He came across a band of marauders, one of whom declared himself to be the devil, so Christopher decided to serve him. But when he saw his new master avoid a wayside cross and found out that the devil feared Christ, he left him and enquired from people where to find Christ. He met a hermit who instructed him in the Christian faith. Christopher asked him how he could serve Christ. When the hermit suggested fasting and prayer, Christopher replied that he was unable to perform that service. The hermit then suggested that because of his size and strength Christopher could serve Christ by assisting people to cross a dangerous river, where they were perishing in the attempt. The hermit promised that this service would be pleasing to Christ.

After Christopher had performed this service for some time, a little child asked him to take him across the river. During the crossing, the river became swollen and the child seemed as heavy as lead, so much that Christopher could scarcely carry him and found himself in great difficulty. When he finally reached the other side, he said to the child: "You have put me in the greatest danger. I do not think the whole world could have been as heavy on my shoulders as you were." The child replied: "You had on your shoulders not only the whole world but Him who made it. I am Christ your king, whom you are serving by this work." The child then vanished.

Christopher later visited Lycia and there comforted the Christians who were being martyred. Brought before the local king, he refused to sacrifice to the pagan gods. The king tried to win him by riches and by sending two beautiful women to tempt him. Christopher converted the women to Christianity, as he had already converted thousands in the city. The king ordered him to be killed. Various attempts failed, but finally Christopher was beheaded.

basilica transfiguration mount tabor key chain
Basilica of Transfiguration Mount Tabor key chain (1874404031)

The Church of the Transfiguration is a church located on Mount Tabor

It is traditionally believed to be the site where the Transfiguration of Christ took place, an event in the Gospels in which Jesus is transfigured upon an unnamed mountain and speaks with Moses and Elijah.

The Transfiguration of Jesus is an event reported by the Synoptic Gospels in which Jesus is transfigured upon a mountain. Jesus becomes radiant, speaks with Moses and Elijah, and is called "Son" by God. The transfiguration put Jesus above Moses and Elijah, the two preeminent figures of Judaism.

Several mountains have been identified as the site of the Transfiguration, for example the tallest mountain in Israel, Mount Hermon. Mount Tabor is closer to the center of Jesus's activities and therefore the Bishop Cyril of Jerusalem wrote in the year 348 that he preferred Mount Tabor to Mount Hermon. Thus Mount Tabor was accepted as the site of the transfiguration of Christ.

Last Supper Key chain (1810406531)

The Last Supper importance

The Last Supper is what we call the last meal Jesus ate with His disciples before His betrayal and arrest. The Last Supper is recorded in the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew 26:17–30; Mark 14:12–26; Luke 22:7–30). It was more than Jesus’ last meal; it was a Passover meal, as well. One of the important moments of the Last Supper is Jesus’ command to remember what He was about to do on behalf of all mankind: Shed His blood on the cross thereby paying the debt of our sins (Luke 22:19). In addition to predicting His suffering and death for our salvation (Luke 22:15–16), Jesus also used the Last Supper to imbue the Passover with new meaning, institute the New Covenant, establish an ordinance for the church, and foretell Peter’s denial of Him (Luke 22:34) and Judas Iscariot’s betrayal (Matthew 26:21–24).

The Last Supper brought the Old Testament observance of the Passover feast to its fulfillment. Passover was an especially holy event for the Jewish people in that it commemorated the time when God spared them from the plague of physical death and brought them out of slavery in Egypt (Exodus 11:1—13:16). During the Last Supper with His apostles, Jesus took two symbols associated with Passover and imbued them with fresh meaning as a way to remember His sacrifice, which saves us from spiritual death and delivers us from spiritual bondage: “After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, ‘Take this and divide it among you. For I tell you I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.’ And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you’” (Luke 22:17–20)

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand miracle

Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee, that is, the Sea of Tiberias, and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick. Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples. The Jewish Passover Festival was near.

When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.

Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!”

Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”

Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down, about five thousand men were there. Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.

When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.

After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Church of the Nativity

The Church of the Nativity where Jesus was born is a basilica located in Bethlehem, in the disputed territories of Judea and Samaria, also known as the West Bank.

The church was originally commissioned in 327 by Constantine the Great and his mother Helena over the site that was traditionally considered to be located over the cave that marks the birthplace of Jesus. The Church of the Nativity site's original basilica was completed in 339 and destroyed by fire during the Samaritan Revolts in the 6th century. A new basilica was built 565 by Justinian, the Byzantine Emperor, restoring the architectural tone of the original. The site of the Church of the Nativity has had numerous additions since this second construction, including its prominent bell towers.

The Church of the Nativity site holds a prominent religious significance to the Christian faith.

The doctrine of the Trinity

The doctrine of the Trinity is foundational to the Christian faith. It is crucial for properly understanding what God is like, how he relates to us, and how we should relate to him. The doctrine of the Trinity means that there is one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Stated differently, God is one in essence and three in person. These definitions express three crucial truths: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons, each Person is fully God, there is only one God.

Pope John Paul II Papal Cross

This Bent Crucifix is "... a sinister symbol, used by Satanists in the sixth century, that had been revived at the time of Vatican Two. This was a bent or broken cross, on which was displayed a repulsive and distorted figure of Christ, which the black magicians and sorcerers of the Middle Ages had made use of to represent the Biblical term 'Mark of the Beast'. Yet, not only Paul VI, but his successors, the two John-Pauls, carried that object and held it up to be revered by crowds, who had not the slightest idea that it stood for anti-Christ.
